Opprettholdelse av normal drift

I Norsirk jobber vi for å opprettholde normal drift, selv med den utfordringen som COVID-19 representerer, samtidig som vi skal ivareta våre ansatte og operatører. Vi følger oppfordringene fra Folkehelseinstituttet i Norge. Det innebærer at reisevirksomhet holdes på et minimum, og at fysiske møteplasser i tiden fremover helst byttes med telefon-, video- eller andre nettbaserte møter.

Norsirk ser seg også nødt til å varsle om mulige kontraktsmessige hindringer på grunn av koronaviruset.

Per dags dato, 13.mars 2020, har ikke våre operatører hatt meldte tilfeller om sykdom, men dette kan endre seg raskt med tanke på takten på spredningen. Vi oppfordrer derfor også (ref. ROAF og TRV sin oppfordring) til at befolkningen utsetter sine planlagte besøk til gjenvinningsstasjonen i denne perioden.

Maintaining normal operation

At Norsirk, we work to maintain normal operations, even with the challenge that COVID-19 represents, while also looking after our employees and operators. We are following the demands of the Norwegian Institute of Public Health in Norway. This means that travel activities are kept to a minimum, and that physical meeting places in the future will preferably be exchanged with telephone, video or other online meetings.

Norsirk also have to give notice of possible contractual terms obstructions due to the coronavirus. March 11^th, 2020, the WHO declared that the outbreak and rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus constituted a pandemic. Norsirk warns with this that the pandemic could cause problems in fulfilling our contractual obligations during the period the pandemic lasts. We will inform our contracting parties further when the actual consequences have been clarified.

As of today, March 18th, 2020, our operators have not had reported cases of illness, but this may change rapidly given the pace of the spread. We therefore also urge that the population postpone their planned visits to the recycling station during this period we are in.
